Beach shoot with Ryan Burnett

At the end of October 2013 I escaped London for the day and headed down to Brighton to meet up with my old friend Ryan Burnett to take some photos.

After a very quick sandwich from M&S at the station, we jumped on the bus and headed towards the beach that is past the marina. It was freezing, but the light was incredible. We spent a couple of hours shooting in various locations around the beach and cliffs.

I ended up shooting 2 rolls of film which is a total of 30 photos. Once we were done we had a hot chocolate in the cafe at Ovingdean to to escape the cold, then Ryan had to head off to a gig. I spent the rest of the day wandering around Brighton, and jumped on the train back to London just as it was getting dark.

All photos were shot with the Mamiya 645, with Kodak Portra 160 film.
